Godinymayin Yijard Rivers Arts and Culture Centre (GYRACC) is a dynamic bi-cultural arts precinct in Katherine, NT. The aim of the Centre is to develop and nurture art and culture in Katherine and the surrounding region, as well as to present touring exhibitions and performances of national significance. This position offers the right candidate the opportunity to contribute to the goal of reconciliation in the Katherine region and make a concrete contribution to change through the arts.
Based in Katherine, the position of Director is effectively responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operations of GYRACC.

K-SPACE 2018 - NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
We are now inviting artists, art centres and curators of the Katherine region to submit exhibition proposals for our K-space program in 2018.
K space is a community exhibition space that provides local artists with a high profile exhibition space. K space promotes local artistic professional development.
Proposals must be received by 5.00pm, Friday 16th February, 2018

We're very pleased to announce the winner of the inaugural 2016 Katherine Prize People's Choice Award is Daly Waters based artist Kevin Rogers for his work Spirit. Almost five hundred votes were counted with almost all works receiving votes, which just goes to show the breadth of artistic talent we have here in the Territory.
