Godinymayin YIjard Rivers Arts and Culture Centre is pleased to announce the opening of the 2002 Katherine Prize. The longest running visual art award in the Northern Territory returns for its 47th edition, made possible by generous program sponsors Julie and Geoffrey Newton and Katherine Town Council. This year, the Katherine Prize will be presented on 21 October 2022 with $7500 awarded to the winners. The exhibition will be on view through 26 November at Godinymayin.
Visual artists working in the Northern Territory can now apply, and should begin by clicking here and submitting an Expression of Interest and reading the Conditions of Entry. Skip any sections below that do not apply. After submitting this form, images of your entry (jpeg or pdf) should be emailed to gallery@gyracc.org.au
