Join women from Wugularr and other local communities who have spent the week on a weaving camp. They will share their learnings and achievements with workshop participants. Participants will hear about the various stages of collecting, stripping and dyeing pandanus and will try their hand at weaving in a fun and friendly environment.
This workshop will also provide an opportunity to talk about issues affecting individuals, families and community such as drugs, alcohol and FASD.
This project is made possible by our principal supporter the Northern Territory Government through its Alcohol Action Initiative, with support from the Tim Fairfax Foundation, Of One Mind, Roper Gulf Regional Council and Djilpin Arts.
