This exhibition pays tribute to the eight extraordinary Australians whose achievements and contribution we are celebrating in 2019. Highlighting an object of special significance to each state and territory recipient the exhibition provides us with special insight into the challenges and triumphs of their personal journey, beyond their career achievements.
A travelling exhibition developed in partnership with the National Australia Day Council and presented by the National Museum of Australia.
Godinymayin Yijard Rivers Arts & Culture Centre’s exhibition and gallery sales are bound by consignment agreements developed with Arts Law Centre of Australia. We follow ethical standards and practices when dealing with Aboriginal art and artists.
