Big Rivers: West to East

This exhibition showcases works from four art centres in the Katherine Region; Durrmu Arts (Peppimenarti), Merrepen Arts (Daly River), Djilpin Arts (Beswick and Katherine) and Ngukurr Arts (Ngukurr).
Category: Multi disciplinary
Registrations for this event have closed.

Big Rivers: West to East follows these four art centres which feature in a GYRACC produced film piece of the same title. Four short films focusing on each art centre respectively are shown alongside the exhibition. The exhibition and film celebrate the unique character of each art centre, and the contribution they make to the Katherine Region’s cultural wealth and diversity. It also explores the many ways art centres benefit local, regional and national communities.
