Attention music lovers: join us for a Sunday live music session on 9 July! Godinymayin Yijard Rivers Arts and Culture Centre is thrilled to present Dry Season Blues, a free and intimate Sunday evening with the dynamic Moondog Blues in our Lambert Gallery! Making his Godinymayin debut while on tour from Queensland, Moondog is a renowned musician known across Australia for his guitar-playing, unique voice, and commitment to sharing the Blues with everyone! Moondog will also enchant Katherine you with his hand-made biscuit-tin instruments, sharing songs and stories on his way through the Big Rivers region. You’ll never forget his nocturnal freight train voice, harmonica sound, thumping thumb, and stomping left foot—we promise some of the finest Blues Music around—possessed, heartfelt and real!

As a special treat for Katherine residents and visitors, we’re making this event free and open to all. Doors and bar open at 5:30pm, and the music kicks in from 6pm. Come on down to Godinymayin and join us for a Sunday session in the gallery, and a case of the Dry Season Blues!
