There is much excitement here at Godinymayin about all the creative opportunities coming up this Dry Season. While we will soon be closing our facilities to allow for major construction on our entrance, new outdoor deck, and Australia’s next amphitheatre stage, the Darwin Festival is just around the corner! The Top End’s major cultural celebration opens on 10 August, with dozens of events, performances, food, and more. Program highlights include the circus cabaret Blanc de Blanc in the Spiegeltent, the singular Katie Noonan performing Joni Mitchell’s seminal album Blue, Opera Australia’s Barber of Seville, comedian Amy Hetherington’s leading The Secret Life of Territorians, and about 50 other great shows, exhibitions, awards, and arts opportunities.
