Attention holiday shoppers: the first ever Godinymayin Holiday Art Market will fill our Centre with creative items and deck the halls with art, books, craft, objects, prints, and more from 9 to 23 December. For the two weeks before Christmas, our lobby and gallery spaces in Katherine will become a veritable art market—offering items from local artists, regional art centres, and more than a few Darwin creatives.

Discover wonderful items from Djilpin Arts in Beswick, Marrawuddi Arts Centre in Jabiru, ceramic artist Danny Murphy, Paintings and devil dogs by Kamahi King, prints and stickers from Tuckey Illustrations, and gum nut earrings by Marlene Tilmouth. Find decorative holiday ornaments from Better World Arts, Binjirri Balms from Seven Emu Station, publications from Wild North Comics, cards and calendars by Mandy Tootell, pottery by Deborah Katona, stone jewellery from Landshapes Art, turtle magnets from Waralungku Arts, unique items from Long John Creek Pottery, Anindilyakwa Arts, and so much more. There will be something for everyone, at affordable prices, ready to wrap!

If you have stockings to stuff, let our team be your Santa’s little helper—and get it at Godi and our first ever Holiday Art Market! Visit the Centre during the week from 9am to 5pm, or stop by after work during our extended hours (until 7pm) on 9, 16, 17, 22, and 23 December. We’re working hard to make this a diverse and interesting holiday shopping destination, and wish everyone a happy, safe, and creative Christmas, summer break, and New Year.
