Katherine Living Treasures – Bonnie Stephens Retrospective

A retrospective of the work of well-known and much-loved Katherine artist the late Bonnie Stephens.

Bonnie moved to Katherine in 1992 to be with her daughter, Frances Anderson. She quickly became known as a brilliant artist capturing the raw beauty of the local landscape and the romance of pastoral life. Bonnie also worked tirelessly to develop Katherine’s artistic community.

Godinymayin Yijard Rivers Arts & Culture Centre’s exhibition and gallery sales are bound by consignment agreements developed with Arts Law Centre of Australia. We follow ethical standards and practices when dealing with Aboriginal art and artists.
