To expand the reach of Big and Deep Rivers even further, we’ve formed a partnership with The Oasis Katherine shopping centre—the most popular place in town—and have installed a dozen large-scale portraits from Big and Deep Rivers. This pop-up exhibition and temporary community gallery is directly opposite from the Woolworth’s check-out, and provides a passive look at our region’s inspiring women. 

Thanks to the owners of the property, Godinymayin has transformed a vacant commercial space (see image below) to use as a creative platform and visual arts looking glass. We are grateful to The Oasis management for this support—and for extending our International Women’s Day project to thousands of residents and visitors over the coming weeks and months.
