South of the Berrimah Line

South of the Berrimah Line presents work of three of Darwin’s most celebrated, controversial and well-known artists, Rob Brown, Colin Holt and Franck Gohier.
Category: Multi disciplinary
Registrations for this event have closed.

All three are long-term Territorians and professional artists who have exhibited widely in the Northern Territory and nationally.

South of the Berrimah Lineis an exhibition designed for Katherine. The artists have created work that speaks to Katherine people, featuring subjects such as the pastoral industry, the Katherine floods and frontier legends.

They explore life in the NT with irony, humour and irreverence.

Franck Gohier, painter, printmaker and sculptor, has produced an edition of specially commissioned letterpress posters for South of the Berrimah Line, using original hand-carved 19thcentury letters. We will be giving away three signed posters at the exhibition opening to lucky audience members.
