The day following the exhibition opening we will be joined by artists from Merrepen Arts Centre who will talk about their work and the Mary Kunyi legacy in the gallery. These artists have been influenced by the style that Mary Kunyi pioneered in the Daly River region. They include members of Mary’s immediate and extended family, Troy Madigan and Kieren Karritipul, as well as the Manager of Merrepen Arts, Dr Cathy Laudenbach.
