Exploring life, death, love and loss, The Package is a soulful story without any words. Combining an original musical score with puppetry, physical theatre, animation and mask The Package reminds audiences that no matter how old we are, the theatre – and life itself – is full of magic.

Devised and produced by Alice Springs ensemble, Packed Theatre, The Package artfully reminds us of the elderly and the strength of their stories and experiences. A puppet show devised for adults, this production has proven that it’s enthralling for all ages!

Packed Theatre is an ensemble of Alice Springs based artists who create works of magical realism and wonder for all ages. Based on an original concept by Katelnd Griffin and co-devised with Kristy Schubert and Robbie Hoad, Packed Theatre produced their first collective work in 2014.  With a passion for community engagement through the arts, the team have worked with young people, senior people, Indigenous and CALD communities, using skills in community development and workshop facilitation to create fun, meaningful experiences beyond the show itself.
