The Women of the World Festival was developed by the prestigious Southbank Centre in London in 2011 and has spread with enormous momentum across all corners of the globe. WOW Festivals have been held in 15 locations to date, including Sydney, New York, Alexandria (Egypt) and Karachi (Pakistan), with WOW Katherine held in both 2013 and 2014.
WOW is for everyone, featuring a range of talks, debates, performances, exhibitions and workshops, and presents an opportunity for people of all ages and backgrounds to celebrate women’s stories and achievements.
