During her twenty years of practice, Yulyurlu was also exceptionally prolific. She has been represented in at least 20 solo exhibitions and over sixty group shows and is now widely regarded as one of the region’s most original artists. Collectively her body of work, which pushed the boundaries of desert painting at the time, represents a major transitional moment in the history of the contemporary Indigenous art movement.
