Collecting Thru Time

Curated from the Cathy and Peter Farnden Art Collection
Official Opening – Thursday 31 October, 6pm – all welcome!
Registrations for this event have closed.

For over 20 years Cathy and Peter Farnden have owned and operated an art gallery in Katherine. During this time they have formed relationships with many significant artists and amassed an astonishing collection of art. This collection is made up of over a hundred works on paper and canvas, and has been primarily informed by Cathy and Peter’s mutual love of Indigenous art, and especially vibrant colours. This exhibition will display a selection of work from the collection, with a particular focus on Top-End Northern Territory artists. This is the first time their collection has been shared with the public.
